Week 1
The reason that Germany joined the war we promised Austria-Hungary to be a "big brother" and help them if they went to war with Serbia. After the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria Austria-Hungary went searching for the people that assassinated their duke. In their search they found a terrorist group called "The Black Hand". The terrorist group was a "Serb" group. As soon as Austria Hungary found this out they declaired war on Serbians. We had to keep our promise now, thats why we joined the war. Threw Belgium we go.
Archduke Franz Ferdinand is the one who started this whole war. I blame the Serbia gov. If they wouldn't have killed the duke and his wife it wouldnt of caused this war. I dont understand why but i do understand Austria-Hungary's point of view. I feel as if Serbia just wanted a fight and now that Austria-Hungary is in it were in it. We have their back. So let this war begin.
Week 2
Hello, my name is Kalebvon Wolfinstine. I am a machine gun soldier for the German army. I am 17 years old and i have always wanted to fight for the German government. Most of my family is dead and i want to fight for the country that they are buried in. The machine guns jam alot but we find a way to kill our enemy. We defend our country and our allies, And i will die for anyone that is close to me. I am a family man when i did have a family. But until this war is over.. I will do anything for the government.
My battle plan is to hold off Russia and attack France. France is the stronger of the two surrounding country's. Because they are more industrialized they will be harder to fight. So if we can take them out first we can kill them easy. We can use our u-boats to attack France merchant ships, To starve them out. People cannot function without food and they will not be ready for our forces. Meanwile, we will hold off Russia with half our army. They are less industrialized and will not put up the fight that France will. So basics are use our u-boats to starve our enemy. After defeating France, Russia is our next target and they will be easy to take because they have enough problems at home in their country.
This propaganda poster is aimed against Germany. The poster is a German soldier made to look like a bad person who is like a stalker or a threat to you. Scareing the people into thinking that all German soldiers are bad or may want to hert you. This puts people in a fear state and makes a persona for the German soldiers, makeing them out to be the bad guy.
Russia is making a treaty with us to end the fight they have had enough! This makes all us Germans very happy, Russia is a weak country anyway and they know what would happen if they did not leave. Plus all the problems in their garbage government is just a add-on to how easy they would have been to destroy their whole country. But the USA is joining in. We do not know much about these new enemy's but we will be able to end them like we ended Russia. Just wait, Just wait and see.

Week 3
It is freezing here and not many of us got presents. I didnt get any presents, because i do not really have a family. But most of the soldiers that got presents are very happy yet it is so cold. We are fighting the British today. Were just waiting in this trench in a stalemate waiting to see how many of us will die before night. I wish i had a family to write to. Oh well, ill just try to keep my head down and not get killed on this sacred day.. Merry Christmas.
Week 4
Italy has turned aginst us. It is horrible for us now. The worst thing that could happen other than dieing has happend it is very hard to look past the problem with Italy, it is very harsh for us to try and deal with the problem of haveing a ally attack you. We will get over this and we will win.. if it wasnt for USA then we wouldve kept Italy on our side.. well we will see what happens after tonight if i make it to tonight. I thought that when this was over i would go back to Germany and this would be all better and i would start a family my thoughts are starting to cloud up because i honstly dont think i will be alive much longer this is absolutely unbeliveable.. i belive.. im gonna die soon and well it will hopefully be quick. I rember fighting along side a Italian once. I regret not killing him, but now i see why i shouldve. All this over what? A assassination, on one man but we have lost much much more than one.
